Cleaning Done Right
Crack-Prevention Tips
- Three-second rule: stay at least 3 seconds behind gravel trucks—triple that on dirt roads.
- Avoid shade-to-sun blasts: rapid 40 °F swings stress the glass; crack windows ¼″ when parked.
- Keep wipers fresh: swap blades every 6 months; frayed rubber drags grit that scratches.
- Tire pressure counts: under-inflated tires throw more rocks; keep PSI at automaker spec.
Summer & Winter Glass Care
90 °F to 30 °F swings are normal in Arizona. Park nose-out of the sun so the shaded dashboard cools the glass evenly, and never defrost on “High” before you’ve scraped ice.
